60th Anniversary

Ashford Netball League was started in 1958 by Eileen Tredwell and her committee.  The league played at various locations in Ashford over the years including Victoria Park and Ball Lane before moving to Courtside in 2006.  We plan a number of events this year to celebrate this milestone and details of these will be posted here along with documents and photos from our past.

The Nicky Northwood & 60th Anniversary Tournament - Sunday 20th May 2018

Calling all members past and present!
Please join us to celebrate Ashford Netball League's 60th anniversary and the 10th annual Nicky Northwood Tournament with all proceeds donated to Breast Cancer Now.
The day will include Traditional and Mixed Netball with a 'Bring a Bloke' theme with registration at 9.15am for matches to begin at 10am. There will be a pub style netball quiz for all to enter, with points from the quiz contributing to final netball scores!
To celebrate our 60 years we will be displaying photos of teams past and present around the venue and hope to create some display boards for your viewing.
A raffle will be conducted with local businesses donating prizes, as well as each team also donating something special on the day.
Food and drink will be available, served by our lovely volunteers. If the weather is kind (fingers crossed). Our very own Mr Whippy will also pop by to refresh players and spectators on the day.
Local companies have also donated some garden games and a face painter will also be popping along to provide face painting for adults and children at £3 per face.

A personal thank you to all local companies that have made donations towards our event:
